Creating the Website
Building this website has been one of the most exciting parts of my creative journey so far.
When I started, I had no real experience in web design or coding — just a clear vision of what I wanted Dream of Symphony and Madness to represent: a world that connects my books, my ideas, and my future film projects.
It began with a simple concept: “What if my stories could live beyond the pages?”
From there, every section took shape — from the Home page that welcomes visitors into my universe, to the Book pages like Lost Fate – Darkness Awakes, where readers can explore the story and find links to buy the books.
Learning to use Squarespace was both challenging and rewarding. At first, everything felt overwhelming — templates, layouts, image settings, spacing, design balance. But with time, I realized that creating a website is not about perfection — it’s about translating imagination into structure.
The most difficult part was adding custom code, especially for the shop section.
I wanted the design to match my aesthetic — the fantasy tone, the soft colors, and the cinematic feel — and that meant learning how to use HTML and CSS to style buttons, sections, and images. Seeing those custom buttons appear — linking directly to shops in Switzerland, Germany, and international eBook stores — was a small victory that made everything feel real.
It took many hours of trial and error, editing, previewing, and adjusting. Sometimes I broke the layout, sometimes it looked perfect — but every step taught me something new.
And now, looking at the final result, I can proudly say:
“I built this world from scratch — not just in words, but online.”
Creating this website wasn’t just technical work. It was another creative process — like writing a story.
Every section, every image, every color choice tells something about my vision.
When I first started, I had no idea where to begin. I’ve never really worked with code or web design before — it was all completely new to me.
But step by step, and with a lot of patience (and a little help from ChatGPT 😉), I learned how to shape it piece by piece.
From writing the text and choosing the design, to adding real code for the shop section — something I never thought I’d be able to do.
Even without any background in web development, I managed to bring this vision to life.
Every section, every image, and every word on this site reflects the world I’ve been building since 2014.
It took time, late nights, and a lot of trial and error — but in the end, we made it work.
This website isn’t just a platform — it’s proof that creativity, curiosity, and a bit of guidance can make anything possible.
🌙 “Dream of Symphony and Madness” isn’t just a name — it’s a promise:
to build worlds, one page at a time.
